My tattoo design. This is still a work in progress as this piece actually will be a full sleeve. I'm actually having it done later. Hope it turns out OK=)

I've been to busy lately to add any stuff here in my blog but hopefully I'll be getting that much needed free time in my new work. Here's a Architectural gig I did just recently. This is a HI RISE Residential Project for DIGISCRIPT.
I'll be adding also some stuff I did from our wedding, VFX works and sooner (not that soon and hopefully we get to finish) some PREPROD works I'm doing for my new job=)

This is for a Mini COmp at Gameartisans. I'm just trying to look for a comp to join that isn't too time consuming. This is the LORD of DARKNESS from the movie "LEGEND"=)

It's been a while since I posted anything on my site. Well here's something that I did for a friend of mine. It's a redesign of their school logo. I've attached the old and the new logo design.

Here's the work I've been doing lately. This is just texturing work for a character in a TV commercial. I'm still not placing this on my 3D Gallery mainly because I'm still not happy with it. Deadline was moved so it was a "finished or not finished, pass your papers" scenario. Hopefully I won't get too bored and still get to finish this the way I wanted it to look. Here's Michael Buble. That's not his real name of course because I can't disclose it=)

Finally was able to finish my Pawn Entry. Tried to go on a different route on this one. Instead of the usual prednered stuff I want for the more "gamish" approach and did a screen grab of my work. Added some effects and "shadow pass" and spec pass" since Maya does not support real time shadows. Still need to fine tune my workflow on this one since it's really hard working also on a low resolution image. I'm back to work I'll be showing some stuff later on what I'm doing. I'm also going to try and squeeze in my friend's request to do a weapon design for TF2=)

Hi here's my latest wip. Added in a pet for my pawn.
Here by the way is my concept for the PAWN entry from my blogspot that I forgot to post.
"My concept for the pawn is a soldier who is blind therefore his movements are impaired allowing him only to move one "tile" a turn. His weapon would be solely compromised of short melee attacks with a dagger. Thus the explanation to the one "tile" diagonal attack of the PAWN. Neutral pose for the PAWN would be a slouching stance so as not to impair the view of the units behind him and making him much smaller also. His right hand will be wielding 3 pieces of daggers which are fitted between his fingers. The right hand is ala hellraiser type stretched fleshed wherein the daggers are inserted. The right hand can also serve as a shield."
The additional pet which is loosley based on a "Japanese Lantern" has eyes situated every 90 degrees around its radius but is oriented at 45 degrees so only enemies at a 45 degrees angle are within its sight thus explaining the diagonal attack of the pawn.
Here's my latest base mesh and revised UV layout=)

Here's the base mesh for my "PAWN". With 2000 Tris to spare I'm still thinking of adding in a pet as a guide since my character is actually handicapped.

Here's a quick sketch for "THE PAWN" micro mini comp at gameartisan. My concept for the pawn is a soldier who is blind therefore his movements are impaired allowing him only to move one "tile" a turn. His weapon would be solely compromised of short melee attacks with a dagger. Thus the explanation to the one "tile" diagonal attack of the PAWN. Neutral pose for the PAWN would be a slouching stance so as not to impair the view of the units behind him and making him much smaller also.
